Pros
- Finishing work at the end of the day - The possibility of leaving work 15 mins earlier.. because the shop is dead quiet ( because no one shops there ) -
Cons
- No planned weekly schedule, - Shifts given on days you told them you're unavailable to work and when you tell the managers , they tell you theres nothing we can do unless you find a shift swap yourself ( ps theres not even enough staff working there anyways to get a swap haha) - Awful working environment with lots of gossiping from managers - Unethical 10% staff discount ( items aren't even affordable to begin with ) - No training opportunities - as a sales assistant just expect to spend your whole boring day constantly arranging clothes - If you're a student who needs a good bit of cash, DO NOT BOTHER APPLYING( THEY ONLY OFFER MAX 12 HOUR CONTRACTS AND YOU GET THAT ONLY AFTER YEARS OF WORKING THERE) - Management makes inconsiderate, enthical 'jokes' - Managers are so unapproachable, ( IF YOU HAVE A PORBLEM, MAY AS WELL KEEP IT TO YOURSELF) - MAKE SURE TO NEVER CALL IN SICK( The next day you're in ... just know that they'll have old everyone your business + blamed you for being 'sick' causing them to be shortstaffed - Income inequality - some staff making more than another members.. when they were employed at the exact same time ?? -
