Pros

Employee discounts on service work.

Cons

As you read the positive reviews, realize that the majority are fake and written by the HR department. This company has STRUGGLED with embarrassingly high turnover rates and miserable employee engagement for years. There is no doubt you are just an employee number and easily replaceable. They have no problem reminding you of that philosophy in every meeting or call. It is the retail mindset that unfortunately has worked its way into every department. This culture starts at the top and permeates throughout the ranks. I have never witnessed top level management so inept to basic leadership skills. As the saying goes, “the beatings will continue until morale improves.” Internally, it is known as a “toxic” culture. If you need a stop gap job, their paychecks won’t bounce. The parent companies are large and stable with Michelin and Sumitomo. Michelin was recently rated as a top employer but TBC hasn’t inherited any of Michelins positive culture. If you are looking for a company that values its employees, keep looking. The money is not worth the frustration and disrespect.

Pros

Work/Life Balance okay, get your route down and done quickly if you need to.

Cons

Micromanagement, cannot seem to stick with 1 program, uncertainty of the commission structure, mislead on who to contact, outsourcing customer service. Pays ok, but bank on no commission. Company talks about how much money they are making and how well they are doing while we struggle to make sense of the algorithm they have come up with on what to pay us that year.
