Pros

The employees (NOT LEADERSHIP) are great. Everyone is so dedicated, driven, and talented at what they do.

Cons

Where to begin. Please, for the sake of your mental, physical, and emotion health, do not work at this company. They chronically underpay and overwork employees. You will work 10-14 hour days multiple times a week. Working weekends expected. Being on call, responding to emails and notifications is expected around the clock. You will not be given reasonable time to do the tasks you are given, and then blamed for the inevitable failure. The “raises” at this company after you give countless hours, weekends, holidays up for them is 5%....and when you make $30,000 a year, that’s next to nothing. They consistently work people into the ground, fire them when they are burned out, and then try to replace them with a less qualified person who is willing to work for the low salaries they offer. Work life balance is 0. This company inherently requires your life to become your work. The amount of responsibility and pressure they put on their employees is nothing short of disgusting. Editors have to pull all nighters. People work 3 weeks in a row with no days off. Please do not sell yourself to this company, to earn them millions of more dollars, while you make less than $45,000.

Pros

Big name for your reel Pay was fair for higher level positions Office was a unique, start up vibe

Cons

Emphasis is always on output and performance - never on morale or teambuilding. Holidays are a rare priveledge and overall you should expect to work late every day and often during holidays. Their strategy is not to build a lasting and strong team, but rather just grind out editors until they leave so that TBNR can hire new editors and never raise wages
