Pros

1. You have access to a variety of resources and support from Texas Christian University. 2. There are a lot of opportunities to collaborate with university staff, faculty, and community partners. There are also many social events and professional development for employees. 3. You get to work alongside passionate advisors and educational professionals committed to student success.

Cons

1. Like many grant-funded or nonprofit-supported initiatives, long-term funding can sometimes create uncertainty about future program expansion or staffing. 2. The work can be emotionally demanding because advisors regularly support students facing significant life challenges. 3. There is limited opportunity to advance within the organization.
