Pros
Invaluable experience in IT and distribution. Great Benefits and Employee health options. Hybrid / Remote work schedules available to some positions. (Even though I think this may be going away.) Exposure to the top brands, voices, and stakeholders at big name tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc.
Cons
Management and leadership on the marketing teams has changed hands more than your average dollar bill. With leadership constantly restructuring and refusing to backfill badly needed roles, teams are at maximum bandwidth. Stress levels can be very high. Teams are inheriting more and more workload, and seemingly meaningless tasks on top of it. Very low compensation compared to competing roles in the industry. Training for new employees (In Vendor Marketing) is non-existent.
