It’s a steady job. Not much else.
Cons
You’re just a number on a spreadsheet to upper management. They base 25% of your compensation of revenue and margin targets, and then set those goals ridiculously high. Upper management rigs the game, adding layers of cost factors to steal profit from sales. Upper management literally does not care about paying employees fairly. Annual pay increases are often less than inflation and cost of living.
