Pros
Nice office, pantry, and hybrid work sich.
Cons
It depends on which dinosaur you report to. Your comings and goings will be watched and scrutinized closely and judged blatantly. These things matter more than your potential or quality of work. Most oldies should have retired 10 years ago and if they have been revived from the grave instead then retrained by a professional in managing a team, especially ambitious Gen Z and young millennials. They are considered young, ambitious, self-driven, and a threat, not to mention micromanaged, and stifled by office politics. There is no real prospect if you aren't in sales. There is plenty of "talk" around culture but very little actual action or results. APAC uses its US counterpart's metrics around cultural impact and goals for "branding" and when it comes to luring in potential talent. Most meetings are unnecessary, not to mention a snoozefest. But they live for these so you have to pretend they are the most exciting thing in your life. Pay is poor and perks are not competitive. You will be punished if you leave an honest performance review of your manager. They think the concept of mental health is "nice to have". Also, also it is NOT a TECH company. It's a pure distribution hub with none of its API. Glorified wholesalers who are stuck in their "glory days" and refusing to advance the company forward in fear of not being able to keep up with the Kardashians.
