Pros
I like that it has flexibility as far as getting hours. I like 1099 employment. Most of the “higher ups” are pleasant/nice when you deal with them
Cons
Pay is very low compared to other companies and no OT. They expect unreasonable review pace and micromanage/pester teams with feedback. The blind focus on review pace and constant vague feedback was a culture shock compared to other companies.
Based on conversations with others, the company seems to blackball people who leave projects or are unable to hit hours for the duration of the review. Having worked in staffing at other companies, I know it is hard to know how long matters will last. That said, it is unreasonable to sign people up for 2-4 weeks and expect them to clear their schedules for 6 months.
