Pros

People on the team are great.

Cons

High Stress, fast paced, salaried positions are expected to work 10-12 hours per day and do not get half days on Fridays. Often asked to be attentive to emails on weekends/holidays. Management will push you beyond your limit, without increasing compensation (no cost of living adjustments), and reward you with verbal "kudos." Expected to take on additional roles/assignments/projects and told to say when you have reached your limit, but when you express that you;re stressed, managment pushes back offering to help you work on time mangement skills. Required to be located in San Diego at a low pay rate & work minimum 3 days in office. Schedule is not flexible, the jobs can be done from home, yet employees are required to go in office because the board approved a ~$300k expansion to the suite.

Pros

The team is kind, the managers care about their team and the overall work they do touches people positively. I was always impressed with the kindness of the team and how celebratory the culture is

Cons

Technology and processes can be improved. It is an effort by the management and technology teams, but there is a lot more room to improve here as a company

Pros

"Free" lunch, weekly massages, and fantastic benefits overall. This is a great place to gain experience in HR and if you work hard enough, you can be promoted.

Cons

Lack of direction from management which leads to burnt out employees, lots of gossip, and low morale. You can only move up so much at this company and it's best to milk them for every opportunity to learn before you depart. The pay structure is horrible and not competitive.
