Pros
Working at TELUS intl in Guatemala had some great benefits such as the facilities like being able to use the gym and its proximity to many services in the commercial centers nearby (e.g. banks, shops...). I had been working for the company for 2 years prior to applying to the L&C center so I already had a lot of good friendships from then.
Cons
Much of the (practical) information necessary to perform my job had to be passed down from other coworkers and due to their subjective dispositions, they weren't always willing to help out. We found ourselves understaffed at one point and the vacation I had requested 6 months prior was suddenly declined, forcing me to have to quit the company in order to proceed with my personal intended plans. The people in charge were very hostile and bitter about me leaving, stating that I had abandoned them. After 3 years of working there I expected to be treated with respect, not like some disposable piece of garbage.
