Pros

The non-operational branches are developed and structured well. HR are consistent in taking and applying feedback from employees. Overall positive environment.

Cons

You might however meet the wrong kind of manager. There are a lot of unfair practices over which there is seemingly no control so long as the results look good. Feedback provided about issues which inhibit proper performance management might not be actioned on for months yet results which might be impacted by these issues are taken into account when making important decisions, selection processes are not always fair as the desired candidate might have been groomed for the position, or there is no selection process at all. Again this is not true for everyone, but there are some managers who are sarcastic or mock you when you ask a question "because you were already supposed to know the answer" even when there was no discussion or training on the topic. I have been present to conversations during which my manager told my colleagues the following word-by-word: "you should have thought twice before having a kid," "you're so clever, what if I call a contact and you don't start at your new job". This is extremely toxic and inappropriate behavior. Not to mention there were a lot of sexually suggestive comments towards female coworkers. This is by no means an exhaustive list.

Pros

Company culture is very relaxed and laid back. The people who work here build some of the best products for the biggest clients in the world. Bar-none, I’ve never worked with more intelligent and passionate people ever. There is pride in efficiency, quality, and so much more.

Cons

Management is very… out of touch? Not at their own fault to be clear, but out of business processes. It’s difficult for them to grow and promote employees because they’re constantly shifted from one team to the next. The pay is “Meh” at best, and nowhere near the industry standard, but it is safe.
