Pros

Work is fully flexible. I can sign in and work literally whenever and for however long I want. The work is somewhat interesting. Time goes fast when tasks are plentiful. Fully remote You'll never have a boss hovering over you, no annoying coworkers, no customers. just put in your headphones and type away. Pay is ok for the type of work but it could be higher.

Cons

A whole ton of unpaid labor. Seriously. The hiring exam is just a cover for you to train yourself so they don't have to pay out. This makes no sense, as after onboarding, you'll receive maybe a couple hours of paid training each week for the first month. While I appreciate that this affords me some flexibility to train on my own time outside of my full time job, this is not a good initial first impression. Tasks are sometimes not available when you want to work. YMMV on this one but if you have weird availability, this could be an issue. Time spent waiting for tasks (aka refreshing the browser every few seconds) is also unpaid. In other words, you're going to be doing a lot of unpaid work finding stuff out on your own, training yourself, reviewing company documents for answers on payroll, sending emails to quality or HR etc. Telus as a whole is operating in a gray legal zone with its US raters in terms of pay.

Pros

remote job that pays well, provides all equipment, and had benefits. The whole process of getting hired was an ease and they have overtime available. Sr advisors were nice and flexible if you have kids and appointments. i worked 2 months postpartum

Cons

Lack of social interaction, There's a lot of terminology and scripts you have to learn and you have to really apply yourself mentally. you are graded on each call for staying on script and all aspects of the workflow.

Pros

Flexible, but that’s about it.

Cons

They’re incompetent and training is vague/lukewarm. Half of the work you do will be inconsistent and unstable or a waste of time bc they have technical issues all the time. I am writing this out of anger, so please excuse any typos.
