Cons
Ranking the issues in ascending order:
- Lack of accountability
When things go wrong, the higher ups will blame the executives, it is very very TOXIC here, be prepared to know when and how to defend yourself,
- RUDE higher management
There are too many meetings, but a hundred things you said in a meeting or presentation may never matter, you'll have to constantly REMIND and RE-EXPLAIN what's going on, else someone will tell you why you do this and walk out the room, which completely defeats the purpose of meeting/communication in the first place.
- Backstabbing among your colleagues
Unhinged managers playing office politics, ego fight between managers and constantly spreading negativity behind their OWN employees during lunch.
- Everything is urgent, hence nothing is ever urgent
People do things by the last minute, expect working on weekends and overtime.
- Smoking and vaping in office
You can spot a few people breaking the rules and regulation in the office building, even though there is a no smoking sign. There are people smoking in & during meetings, very unprofessional working environment.
- Doing things by tradition
Plays safe, not welcoming to new ideas, when changes come, you should pray it went well, if it doesn't, no second chances & expect whining from all departments, especially marketing.
