Pros
I've been with TCPR for some time, and between the stellar client roster and the dynamic and talented team, I've loved my time here. Senior members of teams coach and guide junior team members, and there's an incredible amount of opportunity to grow. Like any PR agency, it is super fast-paced, and you get thrown into lots of things at times, it is all in the name of learning and growing. TCPR is an agency that believes in empowering employees at all levels to be accountable team players, even at entry-level positions, which is rare in the industry. The teams work hard, but time off is valued and a crucial part of the company's fabric. Leadership invests in team events and learning/coaching opportunities for the team at large. There's also a solid review schedule to ensure you're tracking your own growth goals and having a dialogue about how you want the company to support you better. Working here has grown my career in many ways past agencies would not have allowed. If you're looking for supportive, creative, and hard-working colleagues, TCPR is a great place to be.
Cons
Work can feel like an overload at times. And while there is help from other team members of all levels, it can be hectic at times. Being remote has been helpful but challenging. While I’m relieved to have the option of working remotely or popping into the office if I need a change of scenery (during COVID), it has been challenging to get through these longer workload times. Implementing more face-to-face engagements/collaboration opportunities would be nice to do once we can do so safely again.
