Management do not care about you. They want you to bend over backwards for them. Many of the managers were bullies and look down on you. You are just a number to them. You are on a salary and they expect you to work outside office hours as you are not on a day rate. All meetings have a negative vibe and a finger pointing competition. If the team came up with an idea the manager would take it and use it and put his name forward that he came up with it. The majority of the promotions were given to Kerry people in the head office. Any initiative is basically a publicity stunt for LinkedIn. All show no go. They want people back in the office ASAP, 90% of the work can be done from home. They are very old school in that way and not very forward thinking in these times. I was also not told in the interview there was a company wide shut down at Christmas and this comes out of your annual leave.
