Cons
Cons: I've been waiting a while to share this. One of my favorite quotes while working for thus company was "i enjoy driving, I just dont like my company". TMC has rubbed me wrong from day one. Whether it be their pseudo-military work culture or the smug individuals they have in "leadership". Type of company that would rather interrogate you after an incident than to have your back whether its your fault or not. I recommend for any driver if you absolutely MUST apply for this company to get no more than 1.5-2yrs of experience and bail. Huge turn over rate Hours at customers or truckstops waiting for new loads Clear evidence that top percentile of drivers get the best picks Will run you into the ground for the contractual obligations i.e home depot, lowes or any insulation manufacturer Clear discrepancies in pay from one week to the next. They drag you along for their ride until you slip up or just quit yourself. Soulless company, this is the unfortunate reality of working for a big carrier I "ran" last December with TMC and this past December with my new company and they difference was closer to TRIPLE than double what i had the previous year with TMC. Very strong emphasis on "snitching" type of culture here as well Overall, 10/10 will never reapply nor suggest for future drivers
