Pros

Sometimes the uniform, although you are pressured into buying items to wear to work with your own money.

Cons

The debriefs on each season demonstrated cultural appropriation at a level I would not expect for a company of Toasts size. Budgets such as the mental health breakfast £5 per employee, was cut and so there were no benefits to working there. No support or development provided. A lot of bullying goes on.

Pros

A pleasant environment to work in. The store is a boutique environment and keeps pretty reasonable business hours. No late nights or super early mornings required! The brand story and ethos of the company are great, and continuously discussed. It's great to know for one on one interactions with customers. I had 2 weeks of training before I started to sell on my own, opening and closing tasks are pretty straightforward.

Cons

Nothing to report, it's a really solid retail job and great place to work. Happy to have this experience as part of my work history.
