Pros

[Department Dependent] I appreciate how TOUCH understands the importance of a work-life balance. The workload is manageable, and they encourage employees to take breaks, ensuring we're not burning out. TOUCH allows remote work days to provide employees with the flexibility they need to manage personal commitments while maintaining productivity. The company's trust in its employees is evident through the remote work policy. This trust fosters a sense of autonomy, empowering individuals to manage their time and tasks in a way that suits them best. TOUCH provides opportunities for professional development and invest in their employee's growth.

Cons

One major drawback is the discrepancy between the current salaries at TOUCH and the industry standards set by NCSS. Despite the Ministry's announcement of a pay review for social workers in 2023, there has been no acknowledgement or communication from TOUCH regarding this matter. The annual pay raises seem to be minimal and are not keeping up with the rate of inflation. The frequency of compulsory company events after work hours can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, there is no provision to claim back the hours spent on these events. Some leaders within the organization appear to lack essential leadership skills, impacting their ability to lead teams effectively. Providing more transparency and clarity on what is expected during the probationary period would help new employees navigate this phase more effectively.

Pros

people there are very nice. team lead will help you tank your work when you are struggling.

Cons

after i finally found a new job elsewhere and started work, I realise the boss at mental wellness is very manipulative. she has the kind of ability to give you so much work but you will still think she is a very nice person. the red flags i ignore is when my classmates who also work in comit dont have to work as hard and just have to focus on comit. we have to conduct school programs, do packing until very very late for festival, and a lot of other projects. when i started in new job, i realise comit dont even allow company to reuse manpower but in touch our manpower are reused for at least 5-6 funding contracts. alot of practice like case record system is not ethical too. and one thing i realise after quitting is that bosses who keep saying they have to fight for us is usually the most manipulative one.

Pros

Honestly none from the job, great clients at max.

Cons

Way too many - messy leadership, all task-oriented leaders, don’t show care and concern for staff, tends to push blame to staff when problem arises, patronising leaders that don’t resolve any issues unless it jeopardises their own KPI. Like to close two eyes to staff that slack and push all the work to those who are competent. Ended up competent workers get punished for doing good, and “rewarded” with more work without any increment.
