Pros

I have worked in Teleperformance Portugal for a little over a year. The whole experience was really rewarding, as the whole team worked in a highly professional and fast paced environment. I personally faced many growth opportunities and challenges. The job itself is challenging, which makes for a great opportunity to not only develop seriously useful hard and soft skills, but also to keep a high focus on your work and keeps it interesting. I dealt with targets on a daily basis, which is a great motivator as you are constantly able to check how well you are doing. Also, if by any chance I would struggle to reach me targets, I was lucky enough to have a management team that, whenever possible, would try to coach us on how to improve in a way that would adapt more to our own work style. Moreover, I was literally working in the center of the city. For someone like me, new to the city of Lisbon, that was a definite plus. Great access to the work place, easy to know different parts of the city after work, amazingly good weather, nice cold beer as cheap as air, very cool people from so many different nationalities.

Cons

Though we got compensation for our efforts (free activities, company parties, gym membership), sometimes the pressure to deliver is quite high, which can be quite stressful.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
