Pros

They worked with your schedule esp. if you were a student

Cons

They are not competitive with the newer and higher ranking call centers in the area. We were told we had a sales quota, however we were always given a reason we would not be paid for our sales, meaning they would find a stat. that they would say was too low that month thus negating your sales bonus. I had to work 12 hours shifts sometimes and without more than 24 hours notice, difficult if you need a baby sitter at the last minute. The customers were sometimes rude and difficult and not wanting to pay their phone bill as times are tough.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
