Pros
Trainers were awesome, paid training. Company was close to home. Full time work year round. Good benefits and over time available. The training can be applied to other jobs and you can take it with you for your experience gained. Good for short term employment or if you need a job right away. Hiring is very easy. Also, they did pay for very good meals for the employees which was great.
Cons
When I was hired it was when the company was still Aegis. During my training the company was switching over to Teleperformance. First they changed our pay from every two weeks to twice a month on specific dates which was ridiculous. They also did not offer us a new employee contract after switching to the new company. We did not know what the company expect of us or the new rules and polices. Teleperformance left us in the dark. What the worst part about the job was how the system was set up for Insurance which is the clients fault. Too many systems to log in and out of, and too much was put on the employee. We were expected to handle claims inquires, sales inquires, legal inquires rather than transferring the caller to the appropriate department to handle those concerns. The pay was NOT appropriate for the job expectations and responsibility. During the change over management often would send threatening emails to employees and HR did not want to deal with employees after hiring was completed. Stress was ridiculous and unnecessary. It is easier to find a new job rather than stay and put up with it. Very unprofessional. Last they did have events for the employees where you can win items. You would think it would be great. A co-worker won a flat screen tv. The worst part about wining anything is YOU have to pay the taxes on it! So you really did not win anything and it will be deducted from your pay! The tv that was won the co-worker had to pay 300.00 to cover the taxes for the tv. Majority of us decided we would not accept items because of that incident. If you did win a raffle and refused to accept it they would get upset with you. No thanks, keep it!
