TP orthodontics is a dental lab. Plain and simple! You will sell spring aligners and an occasional Hawley retainer. However, sales compensation for lab work is shamefully low so you won't make any money.
Cons
The company boasts a rich history in orthodontics. Please don't be fooled by this statement. In an era of digital dentistry and CAD CAM orthodontics, TP is behind the times. You will have to compete with Invisalign using a tooth positioner-invented over 70 years ago. You will have to compete with Damon brackets using BEGG brackets (no orthodontist who practices after 1975 uses BEGG-it's outdated technology). Their recent self lighting release was a disaster. This company constantly creates products to enter market places but offers no innovation. In short, you will have to sell a product that costs more than the competition while doing less due to patent protection of the first to market companies.
