Pros

Great uptown Annapolis location, a diverse workforce, bonus compensation and annual reviews, 401k.

Cons

Low to OK pay. Ineffective senior management who seemingly operate out of fear of the CEO. Operations leadership attempts to micro manage without the proper knowledge or people skills which can make the job more difficult than it needs to be.

Thank you for your feedback. Senior managers at TRACE have led the company to global success, both reputationally and financially. The idea that the senior managers are afraid of our CEO is not supported by the longevity of her direct reports, including two who have been with TRACE for over ten years and a third who has been with TRACE for seven years. We’ve also been very pleased that four employees who have left the company later returned. There is of course always room for improvement in every organization.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We love our location and team too! In response to the cons listed, we pride ourselves on providing employees with a healthy work-life balance. The majority of our team works remotely, and we do not authorize overtime, so we would hope that no one feels overworked. TRACE's President and leadership team do travel a great deal for work, to speak at key international events where they represent TRACE and our member companies and advocate for more robust anti-corruption efforts. It’s not clear why the President’s travel schedule would anger anyone as our whole team is permitted to work remotely and our President is always available even while traveling, but it is true that there are very few opportunities for more junior employees to travel. For local events, we do our best to invite as many employees as possible.
