Pros
Great Place to start a career in the federal government, in a small station you gain a lot of experiences as often times you have to multi task and learn new skills, plus you gain more experiences with collateral duties. the pay is good compare to other jobs in the private sector and great benefits. The Position is good to gain experience and to use as a stepping stone for other federal agencies.
Cons
Management is often times well under prepared you have TSO's with PHD's and Managers with GED's, not much room for advancement as there's a lot of nepotism as you've heard in the news compared to other agencies TSO's a well underpaid for their Jobs, also more than half of the workforce is part time and often times with no way of moving to a full time position.
