Pros

There really are none. But payroll never bounced so I guess that may qualify for this section.

Cons

If you enjoy working for aggressive and micromanaging people in a dysfunctional company that is ripe with nepotism, then this is the place for you. You should know before you take that job offer that the nepotism runs deep. The business is run like a used car lot. The culture encourages micromanagement, mocking, intimidation, passive aggressive behavior, public shaming, and punishment to "motivate" the teams. You will have 100% of the responsibility while having 0% of the authority to deliver. The CEO will also give you the silent treatment for weeks or months at a time if you don’t do as told. Employee turnover is ridiculously high because many new hires discover quickly what a mess TSD is and then leave for better opportunities. It is common to promote unqualified people to senior management positions, fueling the exodus of skilled and qualified employees. It is no wonder that there are regular production outages and serious bugs, given the lack of technical talent and longevity that is required to build teams of talented engineers that feel valued and motivated to do their best. You won’t get training and you will work all hours day and night to deliver, since software deployments take place multiple times per week, late at night or super early mornings. There is zero work life balance - the CEO doesn't care about your personal life and it shows through the lack of empathy and lack of competitive benefits. Often when an employee gives their resignation, they will be walked out the door so that the CEO does not have to honor the 2-week notice - you don’t get paid and you get thrown off health insurance. The CEO tossed many employees out of the business when COVID-19 hit, under the disguise of “furloughs” and then laid off permanently after a period of time had passed. Do yourself a favor and pay attention to the ratings on Glassdoor. They are what they are for a reason, no matter what the CEO posts here to try to hide these honest reviews. You are just a number and a means to an end so that the CEO can continue filling his pockets.

Pros

- Most of the entry level and mid - senior level employees here are hardworking and helpful - PTO is always approved and respected - You will advance if you are well liked - Pay is good overall - Work-life balance is mostly respected

Cons

- Toxic work environment - No flexibility and no hybrid working opportunities - Micromanagement - Terrible onboarding process - virtually no training and expected to be an expert on the job on day one - If you slip up or do one thing wrong, upper management will never forget it and will hold it over your head - Upper Management chooses favorites so if you're not liked due to circumstances outside your control, you will never grow within the organization - When asking questions to managers, it genuinely feels like you are bothering them and getting in the way of what they are doing - Zero collaboration - constant finger pointing between different teams in the organization to shift the blame - The entire company is understaffed
