Pros

In my experience TSI USA has been a great company to work for. I worked for TSI USA for 3 years was able to advance to different positions. However, in October 2016 I was offered and accepted a fantastic opportunity with another travel management company that I could not pass up. After 6 weeks with the other company I realized that I missed the TSI USA family atmosphere. TSI USA fosters a collaborative environment where management and employees work together for a common goal. I realized that I had mistake by the leaving TSI USA so I contacted my former boss Anita Groenewald via her cell to see if my former position was filled. Not only was I able to return to the company but I was offered an opportunity to continue to grow my career with TSI and take on a new challenge as department manager. TSI offers growth opportunities, challenges that will keep you engaged in your work, and competitive salaries. I also have the opportunity to work either virtually or in office.

Cons

Most of the staff works virtually. I would be a good idea for some of the staff to work in the office at least once every quarter.

Pros

Remote, Upper management is kind

Pretty much everything else. I really believe that my department specifically was and probably still is a dumpster fire and that many of the other departments are likely functioning great and employees are treated well. The supervisor in my department was one of the most demeaning and unkind supervisors I have ever came across and they made it extremely difficult to enjoy coming to work. This supervisor is the sole reason that me and others have left or are planning to leave because they make it their daily mission to make others feel like they are doing a horrible job. If they weren't employed there, I could have seen myself continuing on for awhile as my other managers were very kind and fair. It is a starter job for agents but the pay is relatively low for the current economy and there was no yearly pay increase even mentioned for anyone in my dept. which is a huge turn off to staying. I believe a lot of the reviews on here are fake as they were made within one month of each other in 2023 in order to combat some of the bad reviews. Maybe in a few years if my dept has made extreme changes it might not be as bad of a job, but if the current supervisor is still there I believe turn over will continue to be high.
