Gained good experience, but glad I left. - Senior Help Desk Analyst TSP Employee Review

Pros

The company provides paid time off and paid major holidays. Depending on which client site you are working at, you can gain some valuable experience. I was at Texas Instruments Central Help Desk.

Cons

Employees on the 12 hours shifts used to have an incentive to work this shift because of the overtime. TSP figured out how to change the work schedule from 4-3-3-4 format to a 2-3-2 format and they split the Sunday workday between two pay periods. This was a legal way for them to avoid paying overtime. That was the last straw and I left and haven't looked back. Seemed that they were trying to force out the more experienced analysts in favor of desperate folks just looking for a job.
