Pros
WB got rid of some problematic upper management, good benefits and bonuses, flexibility creates a good work life balance. Hybrid and remote work an option. Some staff members try to arrange gaming sessions and socialising at lunch (especially on days where the company lays on food) which make it feel like the pre pandemic days.
Cons
Remote working has unfortunately left those who do wish to work in the office with a bit of a skeleton crew which has killed the creative atmosphere in the studio so many of us just worked from home. Base pay is pitiful (especially since rent in the area has skyrocketed) career progression past mid seems completely unobtainable, sometimes temporary "step up" promotions to more senior positions will be offered but can be withdrawn when no longer needed after a project destroying morale for everyone. The new upper management aren't very visible and rarely come to the studio, as bad as the old guard was at least they probably recognised their dev staff in the street and knew most peoples names. Also little things like not giving staff a token gesture at Christmas like a hamper, lego advent calendars or obtaining physical copies of WB releases for everyone and rescinding plus ones to the xmas party.
