I joined Taco within the past month and the experience has been very positive so far. The team has been welcoming, and both the interview and orientation process were well-structured, which made the transition into the company smooth. Some of the people you will work with are the best people to work with. If you are lucky enough to be part of the Ivory Tower, your life will be much easier.

No real eye on the future. It is being run like a hedge fund group now. Short term money goals seem to be the driving factor in decision making. Johnny has relinquished day to day as he once did in the past (which he deserves), it was disastrous then also. Understaffing in support roles such as maintenance is not addressed as aging equipment continues to decline causing production and quality problems. Quality is not at the forefront with few caring any more. They like to say how much they are investing in Capital Equipment but not in the foundation of what makes a company continually successful. Millions spent on equipment doesn’t solve your problems if you have no one to maintain it. Going in for an interview? Ask the tough questions and listen to the answers.
