Pros
It was hard work to think of this many: 1: You get to work with some large enterprise clients which is a good experience. 2: There are some really genuine and lovely people here or should I say were here as a lot of them have left or wanting to leave! 3: The best pro is an early finish on a Friday and drinks at 4pm. Trust me you'll need a drink after working a week here!
Cons
First of all its the environment and atmosphere, very toxic place to work and you always feel on edge. It's a very clicky place where senior staff have their favourites which is very obvious to people. This is apparent every Friday when the same people get a "well deserved shout out" for the great work they have done! Full of two faced people who are all nice to your face but would sell you down the river to make themselves look good. I will say there are some genuine people that unfortunately are treated unfairly and just given stress and a crazy workload. The pay is very poor and there is no consistency. There are people at a lower level who are on more than those at a higher level. New people are coming in and getting paid ridiculous salaries as that's the only way they can get people through the door. Not sure how they can do research into how businesses pay more for more privileged people when the pay structure in own business is all over the place. Don't get me started on the so called bonus! It is paid quarterly and you are lucky if you get a weeks worth a wages as a bonus per quarter! No idea how it is worked out and it isn't based on performance so you could literally do nothing and get the same bonus. There is no development or support. You are just left to it on projects and it is only something goes wrong or a client complains that you are asked what has happened and made to feel like you are useless and not good enough. Instead of actually working with you and developing they just take you off one project and put you on another. The business is supposed to be growing but all they have done is try and replace all the staff that have left and their constant recruitment drive is to try and keep a level headcount. Flexible working is pretty much non existent and those that are allowed to work from home or do 3 days a week are made to feel like they are doing something wrong and put pressure on to provide 5 days of work into 3. If you are a working mother then forget about working here, you will feel punished and made to feel guilty to try and work more hours. For a company that does research into flexible working and charges other businesses for advice on this subject its very hypocritical that they don't promote this themselves or follow their own advice!
