Pros

TalentSmart has built a strong employee community of integrity and trust. They have a serious growth mindset and are constantly incorporating ways for employees to grow in and out of the org. I feel supported by my manager, which has enabled my professional development. Benefits, PTO, holidays are great too.

Cons

As with any small org, we all have widespread responsibilities. We wear many hats. If you are driven by growth and development you will do very well at TalentSmart!

Pros

I worked for TalentSmart for four years. Some of the pros included: • Strong Work-life Balance • Small, tight-knit and collaborative team • Direct access to the President and CEO (excellent for mentoring and personal growth) • Flexible and Growing Company- TalentSmart operates like a start up in that you can make your own path. If you have a good suggestion and are willing to do the work, you can make it happen. Similarly leadership supports personal and career development in the same way. This environment helps those who are self-motivated and creative thrive. • Great diverse mix of experienced and young professionals • Make a difference! You frequently hear from and interact with people whose lives have been impacted by the work you do.

Cons

With a small team everyone has to work diligently. The industry is constantly evolving and so the company must evolve as well. Every year is different and there is no time to get complacent. If you’re willing to work hard you can use this in your favor (no red tape, no “that’s not how we do things here”) but the environment might not be a fit for those who move slowly, like routine, or are used to hand-holding.
