Great Company, Great People! - Administrative Assistant Talmadge Group Employee Review

Fellow employees really invest time in getting to know you. There were several team building activities! Towards the end of my internship, I started looking for a full-time position: A Talmadge Group recruiter submitted me to a company, and I got an interview in the next couple of days!!

A smaller IT consulting firm, but it is a perfect career for those who desire a more personal/social atmosphere.

Nice office space, great parties and gifts, things were good when there was money.

Owner is fiscally irresponsible with an inflated view of company value and self worth. Did not portray company honestly in terms of employee numbers or revenue to either internal staff or clients. Became an INC 5000 member by adjusting numbers rising from a start-up company to obfuscate the fact the company was very small and not actually growing in size or long-term revenue. Owner took expensive trips and spent money on fancy office space, extravagant parties and incidentals, but did not pay subcontractors or bills in a timely fashion. The company often did not have enough money to make it through the down times, and it experienced multiple internal employee layoffs over the past several years due to lack of funds. Highly recommend contacting a former employee before entertaining an internal sales, recruiting or administrative position with this company.
