Pros
- Individual responsibility is given to those who work hard and want to professionally grow - Flexible working model of wfh:office has been adapted to best suit as many employees as possible - Leadership listens to employee opinions, both with regard to the business and employee experience, this is evidenced by more focus being put into areas such as employee development paths and training, something current employees have asked for more of - Business Development team is open-minded and welcomes discussion around new prospecting approaches, new target industries etc... - Culture is positive and Talmix is a very encouraging place to work surrounded by great people
Cons
- Not specific to Talmix, but true of smaller start-up type businesses in general, the structure of career progression isn't highly defined. This can be ideal for more flexible individuals, but isn't for everyone as can require self-driven work to develop - Specific training and development pathways haven't always been great, but recent efforts by the business to define team-specific activities more clearly, have allowed the introduction of more trainings, run both internally and through external programs
