Pros

The self-obsessed CEO might get you a drink on a friday. That's it. You're rushed into learning, which isn't ideal for everyone.

Cons

Pitiful wage for a large amount of work. The client's might be paying a boat-load for the service, however that doesn't trickle down to the hardworking staff. A certain senior member of staff wouldn't/couldn't carry the load (pun intended), and would rather think about her daily alcoholic beverage and spend hours on Facebook than help the team. Laptops don't always work. They'll blast the same 20 songs over again until you want to kill yourself, and you can't even out headphones on to concentrate. The 2 month notice period is horrid and unacceptable, especially for a young graduate who they only seem to hire. Staff turnover is unreal. You'll see a round of new staff every 3-4 months. You'll have to walk the CEO's dog. The stress you'll encounter will make you re-evaluate a career in SEO. No progression in the company (like you'd want it anyway after a week). Company website is hardly ever up to date, with old clients still up. If you're genuinely ill or have medical issues, they will not care one bit about you. It's about getting the work done to deadlines, never about you as a person. You're dispensable to Tanya and her company.

Pros

-Quick experience that got me another job. - Nice neighborhood.

Cons

- Horrible, self obsessed, hysterical (heard her screaming at one of the employees behind the closed doors just because something was not the way she wanted it to be) and arrogant CEO. - If you were a grad your had the lowest position in the company. Literally your duties included dog walking, shopping for Tanya's personal needs at Boots across the road, getting her coffee, i.e. cheap labor. In fact, she would never approach you for that directly, rather she would ask one of her associates to do that, e.g. "XX, could you please ask YY to go down to Boots and buy me bla bla". - Salary paid to grads when I worked there was so low that it was literally impossible to survive in London. - Staff was treated in a very bad way unless you were very close to Tanya, but even then she managed to lose few of her closest 'friends' aka colleagues who left the company for better opportunities (I hope). - Clients were constantly fed with some nonsense, e.g. 'PPC is dead, SEO is not', ' we will deliver 369 links by the end of the month' etc etc. ------ List can go on, but I will stop here. If I could put 0 stars I would.

Pros

You gain a lot of experience quickly as you manage client accounts on your own being responsible for all aspects of SEO. On the other hand, this can be very stressful and a huge responsibility for a graduate.

Cons

Everything! The management, outdated procedures, laptops that are barely working, radio is always on (you are not allowed to wear headphones!), no coffee, no fruit, no early finish on Fridays, small salary for the work and effort you put in, hence everyone quitting. And not to mention the non-negotiable 2 months notice period for a graduate role! Your responsibilities may include dog-walking, making coffee, washing the dishes, getting the mail, while you are chased for unmanageable workload! No flexible hours, zero understanding and appreciation, the management likes to tell you off, stress you, blame you, and talk down at you on first chance, while they do little work and browse social media most of the time.
