Pros

Leadership is supportive of all level of employees and really does value what the employee needs The CEO is a great person - he's smart, kind, and dedicated to doing the right thing Great benefits (PTO, 403B matching, health insurance) Great opportunity for growth

Cons

This hospital is not immune to the same issues every hospital has been experiencing - post-covid staffing pushed the hospital and it's employees to the limit First 2 or 3 years, you have to take a shuttle to work from an off-site lot

Tampa General Hospital Response

Thank you for your feedback. While Covid was a challenging time to navigate as Team Members and a Health System responsible for caring for all in our community, it certainly showed us the empathy, compassion, grit, and resiliency of our Team Members. We will forever be thankful for the tireless support. With our main location on an Island there is only so much real estate to develop, therefore in 2023 we opened our brand new parking garage less than 1.5 miles from the main campus. 24/7 security, well lit, restrooms, and shuttles that arrive every 15 minutes that can be tracked on our transportation app help our Team Members get to and from work safely. This is a great improvement from prior parking arrangements throughout many lots within the city. We appreciate you taking time to share your feedback.

Pros

Great benefits. Emphasis on education, learning & career advancement.

Cons

Toxic culture not in line with “values”. Compensation is on the lower side. The values are great but they do not fully translate to the culture. The CEO has dynamic ideas but that does not translate to his executive leaders and the culture is not what they sell it to be.
