Pros

The clients and vendors are great, and with the small staff you can learn a lot very fast. If they haven't left yet, some of the people are great to work with and can teach you a lot for industry growth as well as personal. Middle management is great.

Cons

If you take a sick day you're expected to work from home and still lose a day of pto. Upper management rules with an iron fist with the last say over any deliverables with very little recognition. You will not get to work with the great middle managers. There is no work/life balance, which outweighs most of the cool benefits. The medical and dental benefits are not awesome. The hr team is one person who actually handles finances not hr. If you're even a minute late there will be a sticky note on your outdated computer which will result in disciplinary action.

Pros

Snack bar Kind people Video game accounts are cool Located in midtown Work life balance is okay depending on job title and account

Cons

Micromanaging, reports have to be checked 3 times before they are sent out by managers, ADs and directors. It’s bureaucracy at its finest also it’s incredibly inefficient. Workload isn’t balanced between teams. Most accounts are DR focused so offline and display get pushed to the back burner. Social and search are prioritized. Assistant spend 2-3 years at the same level. Industry average is 8-10 months. People are hired under false pretenses and find out later that their job titles or accounts were misrepresented. Clients are allowed to do whatever they want cause the agency is too small to fight for what’s right Media wise. Workload is seriously unbalanced between teams. Upper management doesn’t listen to the concerns of junior members of the team it’s the same complaints for years but nothing has been done. Also the kitchen is right near to the bathroom so there’s that.
