Pros

The dogs were pretty cute!

Cons

I left because the three top leaders make this company awful to work for. They’re catty, passive aggressive, and gossipy. If that’s your environment - go for it! But be warned, you’re also regularly expected to work over your 40 hours and on most weekends. In fact, it’s encouraged. The culture is abysmal but the leaders wonder why no one is motivated. The only times there’s camaraderie in the office is when the CEO is gone and the office can breathe. The reality is there’s nothing about this company that makes it worth working for. They try to bribe you with office dogs and free snacks/coffee but don’t let that misguide you from the terrors of working here. And there’s no chance for remote work - unless you’re the CEO’s favorite - so don’t even ask.

Pros

Cute office dogs and nice work space.

Cons

TapOnIt is a company with great potential, however the management is a huge obstacle that will prevent them from achieving their desired success. Being a female-founded startup is outstanding, however being a genuinely nice person trumps that any day, and I think management should prioritize that. The female “leaders” are gossipy and ingenuine - HR is the CEO’s best friend, not yours, so keep this in mind when sharing confidential information. This company really struggles with miscommunication, and that starts from the top. Their core value of “fostering inclusivity” felt like a joke when it came to sharing important information with the team. TapOnIt has many hard working employees, whose work ethic is often taken advantage of. The turnover rate at this company is unacceptable and should be highly considered before working here. Working from home is not an option despite the fact that management does whenever they please and half the team is now remote workers overseas. If you are looking for a positive and healthy work environment, don’t let the dogs fool you. Keep looking.
