The perks of working at a startup are: challenging work, ability to lead early in your career, adequate compensation commensurate to your skills and experience. Tarnea provides all of that. The founders listen to both praises and critique with any open mind: something I found missing even at large, reputed companies.
Cons
The con of any startup is dealing with problems and uncertainties daily. However, it is no different from banking or consulting, where challenges arise everyday. If problems and challenges make you nervous, take my advice and stay away from startups. Be ready to work hard.
