Pros

I have never worked for a company with the type of mentors and leadership that TaskUs has. I am part of a team and have a voice, as a female growing my career it is important that I can see a path for growth. Not only do I see a path, I am encouraged and major investments are put into me as a leader in the organization. I am able to work on so many interesting projects between go to market solutions, geographic growth and investment decisions that help us grow.

Cons

I do not have any cons, is there work to do... yes... but I know we have the partnerships internally and externally to get through any challenge. There is no lack of ownership to fix day to day or larger issues that we run in to.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
