Pros

They do offer some work from home campaigns which is really nice if that works best for your life right now/in general. You also meet some very nice people you wouldn't have interacted with otherwise. Equipment provided. The pto policy is pretty nice too.

Cons

No job security, no transparency or honesty from management, the clients of each campaign have the power to make your life living hell if they want and no one will stop them. No matter how valid or legitimate the complaint or concern, you're dismissed and gaslit. Somehow it's always your fault and something you can do better. But if you do well, you'll only be rewarded with more work for no extra pay. And if you have an issue that just impacts you management will not do anything about it unless you constantly nag them. It's fine for a transitional job, or for a chapter in your life. But I don't know a single truly happy employee. Stay as long as you need/can and look for better elsewhere.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
