Pros
Other than the pro of having Tate on my CV, working at Tate on a short term contract has been a highlight of my marketing career. Tate do an amazing job at recruitment as everyone I came across was genuinely passionate about the arts, good at their job, open to collaboration and respectful of others at all levels. Working conditions were great, there was flexibility around work hours and open communication across the board. The organisation strives to be the best at what it does and empowers its staff to be proactive and try new things which is a breath of fresh air. It was such a joy to work with such a positive and capable team.
Cons
The salaries aren’t great. Many departments do still work in silos and often key project information wasn’t shared until very last minute which made marketing challenging.
