Pros
I’m actually a returning employee. I worked at Taylor Rose for just under 2.5 years before taking a year out to work abroad, and the support I had from the firm both before leaving and when coming back was amazing. I was welcomed back so warmly and it genuinely felt like I’d never been away. Everyone is really friendly and approachable and although it’s a professional environment, the teams are sociable and easy to get along with which makes a big difference day to day. I’ve always felt comfortable having conversations with management about my career and what I want long term. They do genuinely try to support people’s development and help create opportunities where they can. I’ve personally always felt very supported by both my manager and wider team.
Cons
The team I work in is quite small compared to the size of the business, so there are definitely times when workload can feel a bit full-on. That said, I’ve never felt like I’m just left to deal with it on my own. My manager and team is really supportive, expectations are clear, and everyone is very understanding during busy periods.
