Pros

Flexible schedules. You could work as many or a few assignments as you liked. There was basically enough assignments for a job every day, except during the summer.

Cons

Clients could make outright lies about you to exclude you from a school. All it takes is one minor infraction -if you even want to call it that- and the company will process it. You could take harassment from administrators and teachers at schools that know you are at their mercy.

Pros

The hours, the flexibility, and the ability to have vacations when my kids did.

Cons

There was sometimes confusion about who to report to. Building subs was a new position when I started, so they were still working things out. It has gotten much better

Pros

Easy to pick up sub opportunities. If you make the best of building relationships with teachers and administration it is a great opportunity to network and find a long term role.

Cons

Pay is not that great.
