Disorganization and Confusion - Analyst Technical Assent Employee Review

Pros

Trying to get more organized but possibly have the wrong people leading the charge.

Cons

This company hires people to "lead" who have no business in leadership roles. They have "leaders" who create problems for projects from the very start, cause dysfunction with poor planning, and then are allowed to scapegoat their dysfunction onto others to save their own tails. I have seen this happen firsthand. They have one person working there who is an SME lead who is so bad at her job that she almost single-handedly derailed a project. However, with her savior complex and narcissism, she was able to pull it off, but not after dragging down the whole team with her behavior and firing her scapegoat. Our team also has a project lead who was pretty inept, and unprofessional as well, who clearly has limited knowledge of the category and also limited knowledge of how to project manage. She came off as unpolished and ill-informed . Overall the team dynamics are pretty nice/nasty, I guess it works for TA.

Pros

• A handful of genuinely talented individuals who were unfortunately either pushed out, ignored, or silenced. • That’s it.

Cons

Cons: • Leadership is fragmented, disorganized, and often plays favorites. There is no clear vision or strategy, and managers seem more interested in maintaining their own power dynamics than in driving results. • Toxic workplace culture: I witnessed leadership protect one another while undermining or silencing valuable team members who raised valid concerns or simply tried to do their jobs well. • Lack of accountability: No one takes ownership for mistakes or failed projects. Instead, blame is passed around or placed on more junior staff, regardless of the circumstances. • Unethical behavior: I observed questionable and unprofessional actions, including project ideas being taken without credit, unfair treatment of certain staff, and processes that lacked transparency and integrity. • High turnover and poor morale: Many capable people left or were pushed out, and the overall morale has steadily declined. • Discriminatory behavior: There were repeated patterns of exclusion and bias that were never addressed or acknowledged by leadership, despite being brought to their attention.
