Pros
Staff works hard, and is very friendly. The work is never boring and you always learn new things. Over all friendly staff who are eager to help each other out.
Cons
Communication is the key, seems like not everyone is on the same page especially when there is a change from the top down. Team work needs to be more collaborative and less compartmentalized, There is no reason why there cant be interdepartmental shared training, knowledge and material handling. Sort line could use more tools and better equipment to improve the tear down process, ie something to help pull more materials out of the gay-lord prior to tipping it over. A stool to sit on, standing for long periods of time can be awful on the back and back pain is the leading cause of absenteeism. Socket sets for individual stations rather then one big box of shared tools to be used by 10 people, Drill bits to drill out riveted materials or small shop vac at every station to clean the dust instead of just relying on a broom and dust pan. An annual cost of living increase should be considered from the top down, 2% annually is not asking to much and would show you care about the employees. 15 min breaks instead of 10 min, studies have shown that employees are more productive after a 15 min. beak.
