Pros

At first the pros seemed pretty remedial. There was a snack break on Thursdays which was always scarce, and every Friday morning we got free breakfast, which eventually dissolved but don't worry "it's not a financial thing". As for current pros: -There's a small handful of brilliant minds in this company, those within this handful are assertive, helpful and a good resource to learn from. - I personally was a big fan of my team, I liked the marketers I worked with and felt like the door was always open with my direct supervisor. - Great way to gain experience. Hired and paid as a junior employee, I was given the workload and assignments of a senior. Allowing me to realize how much work I was capable of doing.

Cons

I'm not sure I will be able to cover every con, but I will try. - This company is slowly withering away, I was a part of "reorganization" where 7 of us were laid off. So where exactly is the money going? While you're busting your hump working 50 hours a week, there are Tehrani family members pampering themselves for a paycheck they haven't earned. - CEO Rich Teharani may be one of the dumbest people I have ever met in real life. He is a complete and utter bonehead. I once watched him interrupt a meeting he wasn't apart of to find out when his next meeting was, only to miss said meeting. It turns out Michael Scott in real life, not so funny to be working for. -Biting off more than they can chew. This company believes in quantity over quality when it comes to work. They over promise and struggle to deliver. One can only imagine with so many "reorganizations" and the staff dwindling down to less than 20 that this has only gotten worse. - Meetings, too many & too long. You'll spend at least 3-4 hours in a meeting per week and while that doesn't seem like a lot, you won't be spending time productively. Meetings consist of a CEO who MIGHT show up and say things that make you realize he has no idea about what's going on. You'll have a president who is responding to e-mails or refreshing ESPN's news and a few others actually trying to navigate a conversation based on a non descriptive outline. Some meetings are louder than others, each one is colorful and counter-productive in it's own unique way. -Rewards are hard to come by. The president is often questioning his teams lack of effort and speaking down to them in order to motivate them. Good words spoken in regards to your work ethic are only spoken behind your back. - No transparency, not about finances, not about deals made at the end of trade-shows. The moral ethics of this business are undoubtedly questionable. -After getting laid off I was promised that I would be compensated not only for two weeks but all my paid time off, considering I hadn't taken more than 3 days in the year, I followed up and anticipated payment but it was never received. Please refer to my bullet on moral business ethics.

Pros

Good hours - can leave at 5:30 everyday and management doesn't come in to work until mid morning so can be late too! Easy work, no need to stay late and an hour lunch break.

Cons

No room to grow and advance and mgmt treats employees like idiots unless your "in" then your all set. The managers were all college friends and promotions only go to them. Also, I dont know how this company is still in business, ideas are really outdated and products/services is such a scam and waste of money. Everyone is looking to do the least possible and the work environment is so miserable. Toxic environment, company, people, etc. Also, salary sucks and its like a sweatshop especially if they make you travel to conferences.
