Pros
Engineers and non management staff are genuinely good people who are a pleasure to work with.
Cons
Development and training is non existent, we were told to study in our own time. In general company offers little to no incentives to work there. I didn't personally experience this 1st hand but witnessed engineers being picked on and spoken to in a demeaning manner by their manager. Feedback and concerns raised in meetings and one to ones were 'heard' but never followed up on. Charging customers for support contracts but charging separately for routine maintenance. Micro managers who often stood over your shoulders watching what you do. So much could be remedied by just showing respect and treating all staff equally regardless of their position.
