Pros
Having "MIT" on my resume has been helpful in post-Tech Review interviews. My direct manager was very good about trying to help me achieve a healthy work/life balance (but that tiny bubble was not indicative of the entire organization).
Cons
CEO is completely out of touch with rest of organization, and her leadership is not trusted (nor should it be). Leadership team is disorganized and siloed with a sometimes actively hostile relationship with the rest of the employees. No overall guiding vision for the business with tangible and realistic goals. Zero opportunities for advancement within the organization if you're not part of a favored minority. Repeatedly brought HR issues up with HR staff only to see them never addressed during my tenure. Mass exodus at the end of 2021 of a large number of seemingly dissatisfied and fed up employees. Compensation not great. Overall, a pretty demoralizing experience for me.
