Pros

I've been with Technomics for over four years and have seen the company grow and change for the better. Don't get me wrong, Technomics has always been a great company to work for. However, Technomics really started to "grow up" over the past year. In July 2013 the CEO brought in the current President and since then the company has established concrete goals for corporate growth and employee development. Aiding this progress was the addition of a new CFO and a new HR professional. The core business is still cost analysis related work, however, the company is leveraging the firm's analytical skills to help customers make better decisions in other areas such as program management and systems engineering. Overall: -Great work-life balance (as compared to other consulting firms in the DC area). -Approachable upper management who listen to employees and take action. -Technomics hires smart, talented, and personable people. The CEO and President attend college recruiting trips and interview each candidate who comes in for an on-site interview. -Employee Stock Ownership Plan gives employees a vested interest in the success of the company. Top performers have a potential to truly have a stake in the company. -Great 401K plan and Continuing Education Program -Leadership and training opportunities

Cons

-Cost Analysis is a niche market, therefore it is difficult to find qualified people for some project work.
