If I were thinking of working for Tecolote Research, here's what I'd be glad to know: Tecolote is an employee owned company offering a salary and benefits package that's way above average, and you can't find better job security anywhere... Tecolote never lays off their staff just because they lose a contract (layoffs are common for government contracting firms).
Cons
Overall, management is effective and pays attention to employees, however there is some variation in front line management from office-to-office, so "your mileage may vary."
